VIEWS

A) Miradouro da Senhora do Monte is the highest and the most incredible viewpoint in Lisbon and also the closest one to the apartment. A five minute walk up the hill and most of the Lisbon landmarks are just below you. Come here to get your orientation straight before your first day of exploring the city

B) Miradouro Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen or Miradouro da Graça is named after a famous poet. It is a ten minute walk from the apartment on the edge of the hill of Santo André overlooking the neighborhoods of Alfama and Mouraria and the Downtown area. If you like to enjoy a glass of wine with a view then this is your spot.

C) Miradouro do Monte Agudo offers a different view towards the west. This viewpoint is not as famous as the others and not many tourists find their way here. The view may not be as breathtaking as from the other side of the hill, but it is a lively place in the evening. You can buy drinks from a stall and there is usually someone playing guitar and others playing board-games in the shade. The sun sets at the horizon just in front of you. It takes about 15 minutes to walk there.

D) Miradouro da Penha de França is beautifully set behind the white church Igreja da Penha de França. Pass through the gate at the side of the church. It is a quiet spot and does not compete with the Graça miradouros but worth the 20 minute walk just in time for the sun to set.
